I decided that the quickest way to get samples knit for the show was to knit baby garments. Cathy knit in threes: a baby cardigan a while ago and I really liked it. I made it half way through one yesterday.
I even picked out buttons. Now I need to find someone who will sew them on :)
This colour is called Golden Butter.
The pattern is super easy and goes from newborn to size 5.
5mm needles help it to grow quickly.
The yarn is worsted weight and you need between 210-350 yards depending on your size. That is 2-3 balls of the Super Secret worsted weight yarn that we will have at the Frolic and in the store after the Frolic. And there are 20 colours to choose from.
I thought that I would finish the cardigan today but it doesn't look like it. I'm close. 10 rows to go. Tomorrow for sure.
Lynn finished her shawl for the Frolic. It's awesome. She might not get it back after the show.
Pattern: Brickless (purchased on Ravelry)
Yarn: 2.5 skeins of the Super Secret yarn - dk weight
The funeral home in Ancaster is beside Tim Hortons. This is the sign you see when you are in the drive thru line. I can honestly say that I've never thought about it but I guess they're right. :)

I love the promise of a new project, just new on the needles. The yellow is so pretty and looks like a lot of fun to knit!
Pretty projects. I agree it will be hard to hang onto that shawl.
Love the sign. ;)
