Tin Can Knits has a new stashbusting sweater.
Break out your stash of odds and ends, and bust out this marvellous marled sweater!
Snap is some deliciously simple knitting, with LOTS of colour fun. You’ll be looking chic and cozy and will be hoping for a cold snap!
For their sample, Tin Can Knits used 3 strands of fingering weight with one strand of laceweight mohair.
Lynn finished her socks and they are so cute. These are the Bewitched Sock Set by Stone Knits (pattern purchased on Ravelry). She used Malabrigo Ultimate Sock.
Bewitched socks set are designed for all Halloween lovers! This sock set includes two Halloween themed patterns, inspired by Halloween black cats and haunted night skies! Whether you enjoy trick or treating, attending a Halloween party or just resting on the sofa with your spooky sidekick (maybe a black cat!) while watching your favourite movie, these bewitched socks are going to help get you into the mood for spooky season!
Both socks are knit from the top down, have a heel, flap and gusset and a colourwork section on the leg.
We received a large Malabrigo order yesterday and Lynn has put all the yarn away. Tomorrow I will update the website. Lynn used Whales Road Ultimate Sock and it was in the box.
I was out of the store again today. Dad had a concrete pour this morning so I was on dog duty. We baked cookies and muffins last night for him to take. This morning was early - 5:30. I was able to knit a bit and then I tried to have a nap which didn’t happen. Once dad got home early this afternoon I ran to do grocery shopping. Beth arrived home at 5pm and now she’s in charge of dad and the dogs.
We’re watching last night’s Survivor and I am starting the Nightshift in the new Dream State. My Mixed Tape is in a time out. I need to have it out of sight for a few days - I have started repeating the striping and that needs to change.
I’m back in the store tomorrow morning with lots of chores to do.
