Home Again

I stopped by the show briefly yesterday morning to say my goodbyes and realized that I forgot to share photos from the SweetGeorgia booth.

These are the new colours of Tough Love sock that will be coming in about 6-8 weeks. Great for socks. A summer sweater (Alpine Bloom?) or a baby blanket.
We will have something brand new in the shipment. These kits are SweetGeorgia’s new micro skeins. There will be 3 colourways available.

Felicia is always smiling. She is such a happy upbeat person. This is a shawl that was knit with a Micro Skein kit.

There were so many beautiful quilts hanging throughout the show. I need to get my machine out and start sewing!

I was in the van on the way to the airport when I received a notification that my flight was delayed. You would think that I travel enough and would remember to check these things out. I was already on the early side of going to the airport - now I was really early. The flight was delayed an hour. We had a great flight - no turbulence and made it home safely.

I walked in the door part way through the second period of the hockey game. I wanted to go to bed after the third period but dad made me stay up and watch the overtime. I’m tired today but it’s good to be back in the store. I’m excited about the new products coming for fall.
My dad’s bedroom wasn’t a bedroom when we purchased the house. It was designed to be a dining room but it was perfect for him. The only problem is that the room didn’t have doors. We had these specially made and they were installed on Wednesday. Beth sent me pictures and I forgot to share. They turned out great and dad likes them.

Happy Saturday! The weather in Ancaster is beautiful. I’m sorry to say I’m counting the minutes until we close so that I can sit on the back deck with my knitting.
