New Store Sample

Yesterday afternoon dad and I went to Terra to buy planters for my store. I needed to use the washroom before we left so I left him sitting and he met someone.

She is perfect.
  • Doesn’t talk
  • Dressed very well
  • Financially stable
Unfortunately Terra wouldn’t let us take her home.

Diana finished a new store sample
Pattern: Simple Top Down Tee - free pattern

Colour: 506 Popsicle

Size: Small - took 2 balls and Diana used every inch of the yarn

Needles: I had Diana use a 3.25mm and 3.75mm. Please swatch before you start.

Now Diana needs a new project. I thought about having a store sample knit in Baa Ram Ewe Donegal Twists. I talked with my distributor to make sure the yarn would be available this fall. It will be but at a much higher price. I don’t think we will be able to sell the yarn at the new price so we are going to clear the yarn. I’m sorry because it’s so beautiful.

Donegal Twists is a subtle twist of two beautiful yarns, giving the perfect balance of strength, colour and handle. It blends together 28% Worsted Spun Luxury British Wool and 72% Woollen Spun Soft Donegal Merino. This traditional yarn is designed by the Baa Ram Ewe team and is made in Kilcar, Ireland at Donegal Yarns woollen mill.

See the shades….

Pattern: King Salmon (
purchased on Ravelry)

Yarn: Baa Ram Ewe Donegal Twists

3 skeins of Leanan and 1 skein of Dagda

Needles: 3.75mm and 4.5mm but you should always swatch because everyone knits to a bit different tension

Lynn knit the 3rd size. She did a great job - the sweater is beautiful.

It’s hockey time. I hope Montreal has a better game.
