The White Lotus Tee is a boxy top perfect for mild, transitional months. The lace design depicts Lotus flowers and was inspired by the beautiful saying, “Out of the mud comes the lotus,” reminding us that through the endurance of hard times, growth and beauty can sprout. It features a simple drop shoulder, crew neckline, and short sleeves for a flattering fit. Knit up in Berry Meadow Farm’s Harriet yarn, a lovely wool farm yarn; it is a lightweight, comfortable top with a bohemian, feminine feel.

Construction:
The body of the White Lotus Tee is knit in the round from the bottom up. The front and back are knit separately, flat, after dividing for the armholes. Stitches are picked up around the neckline and worked in the round. The shoulders are seamed, and the short sleeves are worked outward from the body in the round.
The sweater is knit in fingering weight yarn. Annie used a wool but I think you could also knit the sweater out of cotton. My suggestion would be Rowan Summerlite DK knit with 3.75mm needles. You should get the correct tension with this (remember it’s just a suggestion - you will need to do a tension swatch).
Dad’s birthday and Father’s Day gift. Beth and I seasoned it tonight and tomorrow we’re going to make smash burgers for dinner.I made it to the garter stitch. Now I want to knit all night but it’s bed time. 6am comes early.
