Liberty

Cathy sent me a text this morning to tell me that a box arrived from Classic Elite. There are two new colours of Liberty. I have a thing for Liberty. Love it.
Liberty Wool is a super-soft, washable wool available in solid and printed colors. This yarn's balanced twist will make all stitch combinations pop. With all the great qualities of wool and the ease of machine washability, Liberty Wool knits at a gauge that suits many designs and is ideal for children's pieces as well as those for adults.

And three new patterns. The pattern is free with the purchase of Liberty. If you aren't fond of the two new colours, we have lots of great colours in stock.
Simple Cardigan and Sweater with pockets
8-11 balls of Liberty
One simple sweater concept designed with two simple options: cardigan or pullover. Each raglan sweater has garter stitch trim, front pockets and ¾ length sleeves, and is worked from the bottom up.

Mitered Mittens
2 balls
If you dislike working on double pointed needles, these are the mittens for you! Worked in one piece beginning with the cuff, seams are sewn along the outside of the hand and around the pointed top as well as the inside of the thumb. The thumb gusset is worked on the side of the mitten resulting in a mitten that will fit either hand. Garter stitch makes them extra squishy and warm and the mitered shaping adds interest in the self-striping yarn.
Ridged Scarf
5 balls of Liberty
A scarf worked over 40 stitches in two different ridge patterns, one vertical and one horizontal, of stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch.
If the yarn had arrived earlier my airplane knitting could have been another Inspira Cowl using the two new colours. Maybe when I get home.
