Part 3 - Biches & Buches

Today’s post is really long. We have knit a lot with the yarns from Biches & Buches. I’m writing early so you have time to look up patterns on Ravelry before the sale starts at 5pm.

Love Note is a great possibility for Le Petit Lambswool and Le Petit Silk & Mohair. Sarah and Lynn have both knit the sweater.

Sarah used Le Petit Lambswool Red Brown and Le Petit Silk & Mohair Medium Grey.

Another Love Note from Sarah.

I don’t have a finished picture of Lynn’s. We’ll fix that the next time Lynn comes in.

This is one of Sarah’s amazing sweaters. Meet Pink Fizz by Andrea. You can purchase the pattern on Andrea’s website.

Pink fizz combines a mohair halo with beautiful lace and a relaxed fit that leaves you feeling a little bit glamorous and totally cozy! Knit from the bottom up and seamlessly except for the underarms, this sweater showcases a drop shoulder style with positive ease in the body and slim-fit sleeves. The lace pattern makes this sweater more advanced, please see below for a list of techniques used in this pattern.

Sarah used Le Petit Lambswool (white) and Le Petit Silk & Mohair (off white).

Here are some pictures to show how Le Petit Lambswool and Le Petit Silk & Mohair are dyed to match.

This is Lynn’s Elah.
Lynn knit the 3rd size and used just over 6 balls of Le Lambswool in the colour Soft Dark Grey. Lynn said that she loved knitting with the yarn and will definitely knit with it again. She also said that Isabell Kraemer writes a great pattern and she highly recommends looking at her designs and knitting one of her garments.

We love Jennifer Steingass’ Newleaf and all of us have knit it using Le Petit Lambswool and Dyed in the Wool.

These are our store samples.

Here is a chart showing the yarn you need to make Newleaf.

We used
Le Petit Lambswool - 3 balls of Soft Gold and 2 balls of Dark Blue Black. Diana had very little left of the Dark Blue Black so if you are worried about running out I would suggest 3 and 3. The shawl is beautiful!

This is my Botanic Shawl that I knit with Le Petit Lambswool and Dyed in the Wool.

I’m almost packed. I need to do a load of laundry after work and then I’m set to go. My flight is at 9:30am so I will be up really early. I made it to the colours on my Tessellated Vest. I don’t have enough knit yet for pictures but after sitting in the airport and on a plane I should have a chunk knit by tomorrow evening.
