Mary finished her blanket and it is amazing. She is going to gift it to one of her children but I think she should be gifting it to me. 😘 Mary used 5 balls of Noro Ito - colour 32. She asked for a bright colour and this delivers.
Each mitered square of this bright blanket, worked in garter stitch, contains its own unique rainbow. The pattern for the blanket is called To The Point and you can purchase it on Ravelry.
From Churchmouse Yarns
2022 marks Jimmy Beans’ 20th anniversary—and we’re so happy to celebrate with them! Churchmouse founder Kit and Laura, founder of Jimmy Beans, have long been friends, so Kit was delighted to gift her a celebratory riff on one of our favorite patterns! As she designed Jimmy’s Lucky Poncho, Kit took inspiration from our beloved Easy Folded and Jimmy Beans’ color wheel logo. Then, she got playful with random stripes, choosing colors and stripe widths by rolling a pair of dice. Allowing for this wonderful randomness, no two ponchos will ever be the same!
We knit Jimmy’s Lucky Poncho in ten, rainbow shades of Rowan Felted Tweed—but ten shades of your favorite, woolly light DK-weight yarn will do wonderfully!
I met Laura close to 20 years ago and am happy to call her my friend.
You can purchase the pattern on the Churchmouse website.
We just restocked Felted Tweed.
