Happy Dance!!!

Uschitita is on the way. It left The Netherlands today and I think we will see it on Wednesday. It's too early to start tracking it but I should start to get updates tomorrow.

This is Andromeda.

I borrowed pictures from Steffi's Instagram feed. All of these should be in the boxes as well as a few more.

There are a few more colours that I can't find pictures of. Plus there will be two Luckytitas.
Mr. Canpar brought in a box with new sock yarn. Lang is 75% wool and 25% nylon. We machine wash and machine dry our socks that are made with it.
The twin socks with two identical colour repeats in one ball. Begin the first sock with the yarn from the inside of the ball. After about 200m you will find a piece of unprinted yarn. Cut this away. After that, the same colour repeat begins again for the second sock.

Hodgsons Joy is a new pattern from The Fibre Co. You can purchase it on Ravelry.
Hodgsons Joy is a pretty cardigan showcasing shifting bands of texture. Knitted in Lore, it is a lightweight yet warm layering piece that will take the chill off Wintery days. The cardigan is worked in one piece from the hem to the armholes, then the fronts and back are worked separately. The sleeves are worked in the round from the bottom up and set into the armholes.
The yarn used is called Lore. It will be available in the store tomorrow (September 1).
Processed in a mill in England’s historical textile region of West Yorkshire, Lore is made of 100% lambswool from the Romney sheep breed also referred to locally as Kent lamb. It is an honest woolen spun DK weight yarn that blooms into a beautiful knitted fabric after washing.  Garments made from Lore will wear well and are perfect for everyday and special adventures alike.  We named this yarn Lore to honour the stories we create with wool. Great stories happen to those who knit them.  Won’t you share your knitting story with us?

This vest is beautiful. It is called Bowder Stone and you can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.
Bowder Stone is a richly cabled waistcoat; ideal for layering under fitted jackets. Knitted in pieces using Lore, it is seamed for structure and longevity. Wear it relaxed and open or add an optional buttonhole to fasten it. It’s a versatile Winter essential we would all appreciate in our wardrobe.
Wow. That's a lot of pictures today. I could add more but I'm going to stop and save a few for the weekend.
