Marya Wrap

Our friend Ambah has a new shawl pattern. Meet the Marya Wrap - pattern purchased on Ravelry.

Yarn: Adelaide from Primrose. We have colours in stock and we will be receiving 240 more skeins late November. If you can't wait, any fingering weight yarn will work. Hedgehog Sock or Skinny Singles make a great shawl. We have quite a few colours in stock and then there will be another 200 skeins coming in the next week or so.
Named after the Latin word for “star of the sea”, Marya Wrap features a slipped-stitch pattern reminiscent of stars reflected in a dark ocean. The simple slipped stitch panels alternate with eyelet sections for a relaxing knit with a cosy end result. Knit on the bias to give a versatile shape, Marya is the perfect project for those special skeins, whether they be speckles, a gradient, or a mini-skein set—pair them with a strong contrast for a high-impact, elegant wrap.

I put together a few colour combinations that look close to the original. If you want to make the shawl, I can put together different combinations (maybe in purple??). Please stop by and we can play. If you live out of town, send me an email and let me know what colours you like. I will put together a few combinations and email you pictures.

My Find Your Fade is growing. I'm not sure about the colour I'm working with right now. I should be finished this section and onto the next one sometime this weekend. I think I will feel better about it once the new colour joins in. I'm going to wait to show pictures. If I'm not happy then I could be ripping out. :(
