My Knitting

I’m almost finished the second skein on Jaunty. The original plan was to use 4 skeins but now I’m going 5. Before I start the 3rd skein I need to weigh it (to make sure I only use 45% of the ball before starting the decreases) but I can’t find my scale. It’s on hold for a few days.

I pulled Giardino out of the basket beside my chair. I’m about 1/2 way through the stocking stitch on the body. It was a great project for today’s knitting. First the Leafs, now the Jays and then NFL football. No counting. No paying attention to which row I’m on. No worrying about increasing at the proper time.

Dad is sitting in front of the TV and Beth is working on a new Lego at the kitchen island beside me. It was a quiet family day. Dad and I went to the store this morning and packed some boxes. He assembled them for me and I filled them. I will drop them at the UPS store tomorrow. 

Now back to my knitting!! Go Jays!!
