Preorders

Rowan Knitting and Crochet Magazine 76 is now available for preorder on the website. As soon as Rowan gives the go ahead I will start sharing pictures.

This is Lilly - the newest fabric from Atenti. The Caddy and Hope Basket will be coming in this fabric around the middle of September. They are available on the website for preorder.

This is one of seven brand new colours of Noro Kureyon coming for fall. This colour is at the suppliers and the others should be arriving at the end of the month. It’s a good thing I put my Log Cabin Blanket on hold for now. I’ll want to add in some of the new shades. 

Alex was in the store for a few hours this afternoon and worked on kits. We have the yarn ready to go for the Snowflower KAL.

We started on kits for Stephen West’s Woven Checks Shawl.

These are the kits for Framed that we made using Madelinetosh Vintage.

We also unpacked two boxes from Rowan. More Felted Tweed and lots of Kidsilk Haze.

I got a few more rows knit last night. Six more rows and I will have finished the chart repeat once (after the armhole separation) and then I have another twenty six rows of chart knitting. After that I switch back to the green for the ribbing at the top. There is short row shaping here for the shoulder shaping.

Dad, Beth and the dogs are at the cottage. I’m going to join them Sunday morning and we’ll stay until Tuesday. We’ve all had a busy week with very early mornings. Dad had his last therapy appointments. He visited his family doctor on Tuesday and we’re working on getting his driver’s license back. Beth and I think he can handle it - he is a great back seat driver 😀. He knows to look both ways when pulling out and makes a comment if I happen to go through a yellow light.

Pizza is on the way to me and then I have a free evening to knit.
