Rocking Shifting Planes

I wound my skeins and cast on. I really wanted to keep going but it's for the plane. I love the colour. Very spring.

Diana finished another sample for the store.
Rock your Rows! A striped zig-zag pattern grows into a fascinating triangular shawl. Choose high contrast or a subtle tone-in-tone color combination – Rockin’ Rows makes your wardrobe more colorful and fun! You will need four skeins of 50 grams of a fingering weight yarn, so you have lots of options. Also great for sockyarn leftovers. Have fun knitting – rock on!
Pattern: Rocking Rows (purchased on Ravelry)
We used two skeins of Manos Alegria and a Prismatic kit from SweetGeorgia.
There was yarn left over. Over 3/4 of the main colour. Diana suggested a baby sweater. I think a sweater in the round using the contrasting colours in the yoke. Take a look at Christmas in July.

The Shift is growing.
Alex is busy making up kits. On Ravelry someone asked Andrea Mowry (the designer) how to pick colours.
I’ve just added a photo of the skeins I used to the pattern page :) I used 3 colors from Spincycle Yarns to form a gentle gradient/fade - but the fabulous thing about this pattern is that there aren’t really any rules! Have fun and mix it up! I can’t way to see what you decide on!
We have a kit that is almost identical to the pattern colours.

I'm early with my post today. We are having dinner with friends tonight and I'm not sure when we will be home. Survivor will be taped and I'm sure Beth will be bugging to watch it.

What beautiful yarns. It's that first project that I like the best! Wow! How soft and lovely.
