PetiteKnit has a new pattern called the Ivy Blouse. You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.
The Ivy Blouse is worked seamlessly from the top down in one piece. The yoke is constructed with shoulder increases on the first section. On the next section increases are worked on the sleeves only, and on the final section classic raglan increases are worked on both body and sleeves. Short rows are worked to shape the neckline. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or on a circular needle using the Magic Loops technique.
The sweater is knit using two strands of silk/mohair. Think Rowan Kidsilk Haze or Biches & Buches Le Petit Silk & Mohair.
I finally made it through April on my Temperature Blanket. I quickly took a few pictures outside on the deck. There was a lot of knitting yesterday and today to get April finished. I’m at home with the dogs tomorrow and hopefully will get caught up totally.
Poor Fred has been having a hard time the past few nights with the fireworks. Boscoe and Jackson don’t care but Fred barks and is jumpy and whines. I take him up to my room and watch TV. I’m at the back of the house and we don’t hear the blasts.
I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. I was hoping for a quiet weekend alone at home but the family didn’t go to the cottage. The forecast was for rain and wind. Not a great combination when it isn’t very warm out. They’re hoping to go next weekend. Please cross your fingers for me 😘
