Three Seasons

This is the newest design from Wool & Pine called the Three Seasons Pullover (pattern purchased on Ravelry).

If you loved the timeless look of the Three Season Cardigan, meet its cozy counterpart: Three Season Pullover. This V-neck sweater pairs classic cables with a relaxed, modern fit, giving you the perfect piece to layer through changing seasons. The cotton-wool blend strikes the ideal balance between warmth and breathability, while thoughtful shaping details ensure a comfortable, flattering fit.
With its versatile topdown design, Three Season Pullover brings cozy, effortless style to your wardrobe. The careful shaping through the body and shoulders creates a fit that feels as good as it looks, making it a sweater you’ll reach for again and again.

Why you’ll love it:
• Classic cables that are both enjoyable to knit and effortless to wear
• The cotton-wool blend makes it lightweight but warm—ideal for layering
• A relaxed V-neck fit with thoughtful shaping for comfort and style
• Versatile fit with guidance on key techniques through step-by-step video tutorials

Three Season Pullover is approachable for knitters who are comfortable with chart reading and working cables. Whether you’re new to cables or an experienced knitter, you’ll find plenty of support through step-by-step video tutorials covering everything from provisional cast-on to reading charts, working cables without a cable needle, and construction techniques.

Three Season Pullover is worked from the top down. The back shoulder pieces are knit separately and joined across the back of the neck. The remainder of the back is worked flat, with armhole shaping for sizes 4-10. Front panels are picked up from the shoulders and shaped into a V-neck, then joined with the back using mattress stitch to form the body. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round, finished with cozy 1x1 ribbed cuffs. The collar stitches are picked up and worked in the round to complete the clean neckline.

Cantata has a unique tube construction with merino fibers blown in to give this yarn loft and an airiness that is perfect for making garments for transitioning seasons. The unique tube construction makes cables and textured stitches pop.
