Wings of Wonder

It’s time for Lisa K. Ross’ (Paper Daisy Creations) next MKAL. You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry and the MKAL will start on September 4th.

Join me in this mystery knit that was designed to be completely for the birds… in the best way possible! Our feathered friends can be found in nearly every corner of the world. Each one posesses unique strengths, characteristics, and abilities, just like every one of us. This opulent wrap was designed to let your colors sing and take flight, just like the birds that inspired them.

Kits are available on the website for preorder. There is a discount on the kit until September 4th. We will receive the kits the last week of August and will ship them out right away. You should have the kit in time for cast on.

Questions?! Check out the FAQ page!

Want to start chirping with the other birdies?! Share your colors in the Getting Ready chat to connect with other knitters all over the world. It’s something worth crowing about!

What to expect:
While there are a lot of surprises hidden within this design, here are some things that you can expect:

  • unique construction
  • lace
  • bias knitting
  • easy cables
  • slipped stitches
  • color changes All techniques with charts will also include written instructions. I’ve created tutorial videos to guide you through any new techniques. Mountain Musings - I love this shawl.

Secret Forest

I laid Framed out on my knitting chair last night before I went to bed. It needs to be blocked but now you can really see the pattern. I’m very happy with the colours I picked. The back and forth isn’t bothering me. The rows go fast.
