Pop of Colour

Knit a quick, sweet lace shawlette that adds some flair and a pop of colour to your wardrobe. It’s perfect for a quick gift knit too. The Boronia Shawlette knits up quickly using just one skein of fingering or DK weight yarn or make a larger version with two skeins of DK.

Boronia is a small flowering shrub, native to Australia. Blooming in colours from pale pink to deep magenta and all shades in between, I adore this plant for its incredible scent that signals spring.

Pattern includes charted and written instructions for the lace.

The Alpine Bloom kits are on display in the front room. You can also make up your own combination with one skein of Woolcycle Sport and one skein of Dyed in the Wool.

I received an email from Spincycle today that they are discontinuing a few colours this fall to make room for new colours. Alex was in this afternoon and we counted the skeins of discontinued colours which are online at a reduced price.

I took dad to the office this morning. Beth left extra early and didn’t want to wake him so I was in charge. When we got there the dogs wanted to play.
It’s knitting time. Have a great evening - I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather!!
