Summer Sweater

This is the Amelie Tee from PetiteKnit and you can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

The Amélie Tee is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch and with stripes. The first part of the yoke is worked flat, back and forth, to shape the neckline. Then the work is joined in the round, so the rest of the yoke can be worked in the round and shaped with raglan increases on the circular needle. Along the neck stitches are picked up and knitted and a stockinette stitch edge is worked.

Rowan Summerlite 4ply would be a great option for the sweater. Today we received a few colours and more will be coming next week (437, 440 and 444).

Summerlite 4ply is made using 100% of the finest cotton resulting in a beautifully soft, matt yarn, which boasts a wonderful, summery tonal colour palette. This yarn is a perfect choice for spring and summer designs such as a pretty shrug or evening time cardigan. It has brilliant stitch definition, meaning that all types of textures are showcased perfectly.

Alex came in to help me for a bit this afternoon and worked on the Hedgehog Skinny Singles and Hedgehog Sock. This is the Skinny Single wall - all the new colours are hanging.
The Tosh Merino Light wall has a new resident. Hedgehog Oh So Fine lives on part of the wall. On Wednesday when the Merino Light sale is over Emma’s Super Silky will move to this wall. If you don’t know about the sale read back a few days.
It was a hard day at work.
It’s Pizza Friday. I hope everyone has a great Friday evening.

  1. Love the sweater, but would redesign the rolled edges. They just don't work for me and get saggy/baggy. Your pups are darling! Love seeing them. :)
