Joji Locatelli has a pattern called the Emery Vest and Pull. You can purchase it on Ravelry.

Emery is a timeless classic, with two versions: a sleeveless vest and a long-sleeved pullover. Both versions come in 10 sizes and are worked seamlessly from the top down (yay!). 
This design uses a light worsted yarn (Shelter) together with a strand of mohair. You can substitute this combination with a traditional heavy worsted yarn. 

I wrote this pattern inspired by a book character. She is strong and powerful, a gentle warrior, with a fierce heart.

The sweater and vest are knit holding a worsted weight yarn with a mohair/silk blend. I would suggest Le Lambswool from Biches & Buches or Cascade 220 for the worsted weight yarn. For the mohair/silk you can use Rowan Kidsilk Haze or Biches & Buches Le Petit Silk/Mohair.

I was ready to hit Publish but something told me to look at Ravelry one more time. Kaffe Fassett has a new pattern. You can purchase the pattern for the Large Scale Tumbling Blocks on Ravelry.

Kaffe Fassett’s famous Tumbling Blocks designs have delighted knitters for many years and his latest interpretation doesn’t disappoint. Kaffe has upscaled his iconic design, using seventeen shades of Felted Tweed. Two shades are held together at any one time, whilst the large blocks are achieved using the intarsia technique. The long-length jacket, with flattering three-quarter length sleeves is knitted all in one piece and is trimmed with a contrasting band. A timeless classic.

This is the yarn required if you are making the 36”-38” jacket. Make sure you look at the finished measurements because there is quite a bit of ease in the jacket.

If you’ve knit a Temperature Blanket with Felted Tweed then you probably have leftovers. You could make up your own colour combination to use what you have at home. 

Jane knit this Tumbling Blocks blanket for me. It is the most amazing piece of knitting. You can see that Jane used lots of colours in each block.
