Effortless Everyday Wear

Are you looking for a summer top to knit? Check out Summer Sorel (pattern purchased on Ravelry) from Wool & Pine. I forgot about this sweater until a customer mentioned it today.

Introducing Summer Sorrel - the charming short-sleeved tee that’s perfect for effortless everyday wear! We’ve made quite a few changes from the original Sorrel design, including a flattering wide-neck with a beautiful I-cord collar, deeper dips, and short rows at the back of the neckline for a comfortable fit. Plus, the tee features a loose, casual drape using just one strand of fingering weight yarn.

But that’s not all - we’ve also changed up the way the increases are worked and omitted the twisted purls! Suffice it to say, there’s plenty of NEW to keep your needles happy and entertained!

Summer Sorrel is knit seamlessly top-down in the round, with the body worked inside out for ease of working in knitted stockinette stitch rather than purling. And with the pattern including both written and charted instructions, as well as video tutorials and written explanations for special stitches, you’ll be able to tackle this project with confidence.

And the best part? You can get creative with your color choices! Dive into your stash and choose your favorite color or create a gorgeous summery fade with three colors. Our stash-busting sample is proof that the possibilities are endless with Summer Sorrel.

So grab your needles, pick out your favorite yarns, and let’s knit up something special together!

The sweater is knit with fingering weight yarn so you have many, many options.
Footprints would make a beautiful sweater.

FOOTPRINTS is a phenomenal fantasy sock yarn. With a length of 400 metres, you can create the most beautiful socks. The quality consists of 45% cotton, 42% virgin wool superwash, and 13% polyamide. This means that the socks are breathable, easy to wash and extra strong.

Boscoe and Winston had fun at work today playing tug of war. It’s even better when you get the stuffing out of the toy. Winston belongs to Lisa who works with dad and Beth. I don’t want you to think that we acquired another dog.
