Unpacking Boxes

A beautiful colour for a beautiful day. This is the February Crazy Beautiful Color from Emma’s.

Mr. FedEx dropped off 7 boxes from Rowan this morning. Welcome Cotton Revive. I was able to get the yarn and the book online before heading home. Rowan Magazine 75 is also online.

We have a brand new sock yarn from Lang in 12 colours.

FOOTPRINTS is a phenomenal fantasy sock yarn. With a length of 400 metres, you can create the most beautiful socks. The quality consists of 45% cotton, 42% virgin wool superwash, and 13% polyamide. This means that the socks are breathable, easy to wash and extra strong.

The yarn is $23 a ball and one ball should make a pair of socks.

Take a look at the finished projects on Ravelry. This will give you an idea of how the colours knit up. There are socks, shawls, sweaters and hats.

Here are the garments from the Mode at Rowan magazine. I haven’t had time to get it online. I will work on it tomorrow. 

I was in the store early this morning packing orders. All orders placed while I was have been shipped. Now it’s time to knit - I brought a ball of Rowan Cotton Revive home to see how it knits up.
