I got home from the store yesterday afternoon and cast on for the Westknits MKAL. I was doing something a little different for my square that I saw someone talk about in the Forums. Bad idea. My square looked awful. You would think that I had never knit before. I was going to write a post last night when I had part of the square done but instead I ripped out the square and pouted. I’ve found a different square that I’m going to try. Someone posted it in the Spoiler Forum and I liked it. She got the idea for the square from this website. I’ll try to knit enough tonight so that I can show pictures tomorrow. It is Survivor/The Amazing Race/baseball/hockey night so I might not be able to knit. 

Dad, Beth and the dogs are off to the cottage tomorrow to get everything packed up so the cottage can be closed up for the winter. A couple who live on the lake have closed the cottage for years and they are going to continue doing it for us.
