When knitters have been in picking colours for the Alpine Bloom Sweater I have suggested making sure that there is a contrast between the background and the flowers. You can see that the leaves on the bottom of the hat on the left don’t show up as well as the hat on the right.

North Row is a garment that flows from the deep cowl neck, all the way to the hem. This sweater is designed with a fair amount of positive ease to add to the garment’s casual elegance. North Row is a versatile, feminine piece that deserves a favourite skirt as much as a good pair of jeans. A key piece for your wardrobe that is worked in the round for the cowl while adding the structure of seaming for the sweater body. North Row can be worked up in a bright colourway to make a statement piece or a softer neutral to layer over anything in your closet. Choose the shade to make the most of your new favourite sweater. This relaxed sweater is designed to be worn with 20-25 cm (8-10 in) positive ease at the full bust. You can purchase the pattern for North Row on Ravelry. The Fibre Co loaned us North Row on two different occasions. The sweater is amazing.

Wrap up against any stormy weather ahead with this sweep of a cardigan. Long lines combine with soft flowing cables along the front bands, drawing the eye down. Worked in pieces from the bottom up, this seamed garment offers the interest of more textured sections with the soothing safety of stockinette for the main body. Longer in length, this open front a-line cardigan can be worn as a sweater coat in milder weather or offer the ultimate layer in colder times when its comforting texture is needed. This garment was designed to be worn with 2.5-10 cm (1-4 in) positive ease at the bust.
Oh, so many pretty things to make for Fall! I especially love the white lacy cowl. So soft looking and elegant.
