Happy Monday

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Beth and I hosted 26 for dinner yesterday. We had a great day with lots of laughs.

This is from Easter Sunday 51 years ago. We got an Easter bunny.

Churchmouse revisited one of their best selling patterns on the weekend. This is the Color Play Mohair Wrap: 8 Color Version. For this version they use 8 colours of Rowan Kidsilk Haze. You can purchase the pattern on Churchmouse’s website and the addendum for this version is free.

These are the colours that Churchmouse used. You can purchase Kidsilk Haze on our website and in the store.

Churchmouse has a new pattern coming out soon. This poncho is knit with Woolcycle Sport.

This is a preview of the latest Churchmouse Yarns & Teas Classics pattern that will be available soon for purchase on Ravelry and also on the Churchmouse Yarns & Teas website.

Please Note: At this time, any pattern information such as gauge, measurements, or yardage are estimates only and may change once the pattern has been finalized.

Also, although this pattern is currently listed on Ravelry, it is for Preview purposes only, is not yet available for purchase or download, and the purchase price will be updated when officially published.

This Churchmouse Classic was inspired by some of our most beloved patterns! This gorgeous poncho has the effortless wearability of the Easy Folded Poncho (forever a favorite), the smart seamlessness of our Two-Point Cowl, and the beautifully mitering diagonals of our Walking Rib Cowl & Muffler at the neck and hem. Timeless and elegant, this piece is also wonderfully cozy and comfortable.

We knit the Seamless Poncho in collaboration with Madelinetosh, choosing their 100% upcycled wool, Woolcycle Sport! Soft to the touch, easy to care for, this sport-weight yarn makes a lightweight, yet warm poncho. And those hand-dyed colors are so lovely!

  • This 4-page pattern includes:
  • Color photography from Gale Zucker
  • Clear design schematics
  • Instructions for finishing and blocking your piece

My Kilim Cowl is growing. The first skein of Dyed in the Wool is almost finished. I’m enjoying the pattern and the yarn.
