Organic Cotton

We received an order from Blue Sky Fibers this afternoon which included Organic Cotton Worsted. 

The Seven Sisters Top can be knit in solid colours (Organic Cotton Worsted) or in the Printed Organic Cotton.

A loose-fitting summer top knit in Printed Cotton makes this the perfect versatile piece. Wear alone in hot weather or under a jacket on a cooler day. The special printed technique of this yarn provides a beautiful mosaic look.

I added two colours of Organic Cotton Worsted that we haven’t had before.

True Red

Environmentally friendly and naturally soft making it ideal for baby knits and your favorite sweater. A worsted two-ply yarn in a robust line of colors. 

Pickle

Many people knit baby blankets with Organic Cotton Worsted and Printed Organic Cotton. 

This is the Leafy Baby Blanket (pattern free on Ravelry) knit in Blue Sky Fibers Printed Organic Cotton. I have seen it in a solid colour and it’s a sharp blanket.

Diana knit the blanket in one week - you gotta love a quick and beautiful baby blanket. She used 3 skeins on 4.5mm needles. The pattern asks for sport weight double stranded but we used worsted weight single strand.

There was also a box from Biches & Buches with more Le Lambswool. We have 4 new colours. This is Medium Peach.
