Gamut #2

Diana stopped by with a new sample. We knit Gamut again in new colours of Noro Tsubame - one ball each of 20 and 26. I love these colours and will definitely be wearing this shawl. We have kits in other colours as well.

The pattern for Gamut is purchased on Ravelry. Diana followed the sport weight version. She knit the shawl on 4mm needles and ended at 200 stitches. There was yarn left over if you want a bigger shawl but I think that this is large enough and I like a big shawl.

This is the colour of Kathmandu Aran that I am using for Elah - more Periwinkle arrived today. I was hoping that Beth would wind my skein for me but that isn’t happening.

Spincycle posted this picture on Instagram last night. Our box could arrive tomorrow. I hope our skeins of Bright Idea look like these. 

Beth is asking me to hurry. We taped The Amazing Race Canada last night and she is itching to watch it. While I am writing she is watching Big Brother. I know. It’s the train wreck that you can’t stop staring at.
