Happy Hump Day

This week we are featuring Noro Ito.

Ito is a slubby, worsted weight, 100% wool that comes in BIG 200 gram/ 437 yard balls. One of NORO's most colorful creations, Ito provides an ever-changing color spectrum as you knit. One ball is enough for a scarf, but it is also a fabulous choice for head-turning sweaters. We dare you to count the number of colors you can find in each ball of Ito!

The rich dark blue, forest green, and violet of Ito colroway #21 provides a fascinating medium for gather-stitch sleeves and a showstopping body of mitered squares.

This asymmetric closure less cardigan begins with a long I-cord, from which the first row of squares are picked up and knit. Raglan armholes intensify the angular effect, following the diagonal lines of the body.
This pattern is free when you purchase the yarn.
Finished Bust 40” - 3 balls
Finished Bust 44” and 48” - 4 balls
Finished Bust 52” - 5 balls
The front of this striking asymmetrical pullover is worked in two pieces, one starting with two stitches and worked diagonally to the shoulder, the other worked sideways and shaped with both increasing and decreasing short rows. The pieces are then joined at the seam with a crocheted chain stitch. The back piece features curving short rows at the hem, with side seam decreases to the underarm. Ito #20 splashes vivid reds and purples across this singular piece.
This pattern is also free if you purchase the yarn.
Finished 42” - 3 balls

If you are interested in either of these patterns, please make a note when you put in your order.

Don’t forget about my all time favourite - the Nightshift.

I have kits for the Nightshift on the website. If you want to make up your own colours you need 2 colours - 1 ball each.

Ito is on sale for $45 a ball from now until Friday October 23th at noon. You can order online for curbside pick up or mail order.
