Popover

Lynn is working on Kallara with two skeins of Uschitita. It looks great! This is a great project to play with some pretty skeins of fingering weight yarn,
Go subtle or go bold with this fun shawl. Opt for gentle stripes for a neutral shawl, perfect for any occasion, then knit another in your favourite brights, neons, gradient or speckled hues teamed with a strong solid for a show-stopping accessory.
Kallara features a slightly asymmetrical, shallow triangular shape with long tapered ends. Sitting comfortably on the shoulders without too much bulk, it’s adaptable enough to be worn as a wrap, shawl, or scarf.
We have a sample of Kallara (knit in Hedgehog Skinny Singles) in the store. Lynn fell in love with it the first time she put it on. Now she'll have her own.

Whether you wear it with denim or tailored pieces, this simple layer will have you dressed and out the door in a flash. It tapers imperceptibly to the hem for a boxy shape that doesn’t flare at the bottom. Dropped shoulders create a flattering line. The subtly textured rib pattern results in a smooth, flat finish that’s nice inside out, too.
We re-yarned this shell in Rowan Cotton Cashmere—a DK-weight blend of cotton and cashmere that seamlessly combines softness with strength. Cotton Cashmere is lightweight, creates clear stitch definition, and, once knit up in our Popover, a lovely drape. Plus, it’s palette of fresh, tonal shades is perfect for a summery top!
Churchmouse Yarns reknit their Flat Rib Popover and it looks great in the Cotton Cashmere. We have copies of the pattern in the store or you can purchase it on Ravelry. I have the Popover (actually two) knit in Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok. It is great to throw on. I think I might need another one.

I'm early tonight because we're heading out the door any second to see dad and Lucy. We have some groceries for him. Just enough so he can have dinner tonight and something to eat in the morning. He likes grocery shopping and that is his Saturday job. I don't want to take that away from him.
