The packing has started

I'm so excited that we made the list again this year. Thank you to everyone who reads my blog. See who else is on the list.. Wow. I can't believe I'm ranked with knitting celebrities.

The hardest part about doing the shows is trying to figure out what to bring. I try to have projects for all skill levels. Here's a bit about what is going to Woodstock.
If you're looking for something easy, we will have kits for the Crazy Zauberball Scarf. It takes two balls of Crazy and is knit in the round. Super simple and looks great.

If you want something a little more adventurous, I've made up some kits for Dotted Rays - Speckled Fade.

I also try to have something new that wasn't shown at the last show.
British Blue 100 from Erika Knight is a beautiful new yarn from Britain. We will have 3 sweaters on display including Virginia.
british blue is 100% Bluefaced Leicester wool
Supremely soft, subtly sheeny and deliciously sumptuous; the wool of the Bluefaced Leicester is Britain’s most luxurious fibre.
With its fine, dense yet lightweight fleece, due to the nature of its tightly purled wool, the noble Bluefaced Leicester produces some of the finest commercial demo-lustre wool in the world. Often considered the “cashmere of British wools”, it it naturally my fibre of choice for creating the best of British wool yarns.
The Janesville Jacket was really popular at Camp. We will have the jacket and Woolstok at Woodstock.

We also try to bring what's hot.

Our shipment from Hedgehog is scheduled to arrive Friday morning. I won't be unpacking it - it will go from the Canada Post delivery truck to the van.

There will be 40 colours of Skinny Singles. I can't wait to open the box.

We had a visitor last night. Dad was leaving early this morning for Peterborough so Lucy came for a sleepover. It's our last one for a while. Mom, dad and Lucy are leaving for Myrtle Beach next week.
