Slouchy Pullover

This awesome sweater, the Slouchy Pullover, can be knit in Kidsilk Haze or Brushed Fleece.

In 2 lengths! 

We wanted a relaxed weekend sweater that was oversized, yet supremely lightweight. This huggable pullover is what we came up with! The flattering, soft ‘V’ neckline and short-row shaped cuffs keep the generous scale from becoming overwhelming. 

We hold an airy, lace-weight mohair—like Rowan Kidsilk Haze—quadrupled(!) to give it a sheer, pretty appeal. And a lofty, chunky-weight yarn like Rowan Brushed Fleece offers a funkier sweatshirt feel.

The Half and Half Cowl

Choose worsted or chunky weight! 

The first half of this ribbed cowl is knitted flat to split over one shoulder or create an opening in the front or back. Then, it’s joined in the round for a softly draping cowl or collar. Tubular cast-on and bind-off lend a sophisticated, ready-to-wear finish. Frontwards, backwards, upside down—wear it any way you like! 

A soft, worsted-weight yarn, offers a more polished look, while a plush, chunky-weight yarn, like Rowan Brushed Fleece, yields ‘extreme cozy.’

I have Brushed Fleece at home to knit the cowl. After the blanket, I'll be casting on. I would love to have it finished for Camp.

You can't go wrong with a pattern from Churchmouse. They are very well written.

It's almost finished.

The pattern suggests needle felting the ends together when joining a new ball. It worked like a charm. You can't see the join and no ends to sew in.

I received information from the Knitters' Fair this morning about setting up on Friday. This was in the email.

The ice is in the rink, with a foam pad on top, so it may be cold. We recommend dressing in layers and socks. Here's your chance to wear shawls and knitted garments!
