Rosa Rosae

We have a new sample for the store. Diana bought a Party of Five kit (sweetgeorgia Tough Love Sock) and surprised me with this. We'll have the shawl in the store for a few weeks until Diana wants/needs it back.

Pattern: Rosa Rosae (purchased on Ravelry)
Yarn: sweetgeorgia Party of Five kit

The pattern does not call for colour changes. Diana bought the kit at the Knitters' Fair and then thought that this pattern would look great in multi-colours. And she was right. She knit until the first skein ran out and then joined in the next one. She continued until all the yarn was used.

The designer is Mam'zelle Flo. The lady who brought us Auburn Wave - one of my favourite patterns.

Rosa Rosae is a crescent shawlette worked from the neck down in fingering weight yarn. It can be knit in a variety of sizes making it truly adaptable.

The Party of Five kits should be arriving from BC on Thursday.
