Adelia

Last night during Survivor I knit this scarf. Less than an hour on 20mm needles. I can't take credit for the pattern. I found it on Ravelry and it is from a store in Calgary called Gina Brown's. Here is the link to their blog and the pattern.

Yarn: One ball of Lang Maxima or one ball Katia Kimbo
Needles: 20mm

The pattern calls for buttons but you know me and buttons. It was much easier to use a shawl pin and get the picture done right away.
While I was outside taking pictures I photographed the Flower Cowl again because I didn't like the picture from last week.

Mr. CanPar came in with a box this morning that had more of the Knitter's Pride needles. We now have a good selection of large sized needles.
12mm and 15mm circular
15mm double points
12mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25mm straights
I love fall. The colours in the leaves are amazing. Here are some pictures from the parking lot.

The only bad part about fall is all the leaves on the ground that are coming into the store. I will be doing a lot of sweeping.

A box left Montreal today with new/more colours of Tanis' Purple Label Cashmere Sock yarn
-Atlantic
-Sand
-Brick
-Spruce
-Dove
-Jewel
-Poppy
-Natural
-Charcoal

The most exciting part of the box is a new pattern from Tanis called Adelia.
Size: Cowl: one size fits all, finished measurements 18.5” circumference and 9” tall. Mitts: S (M, L) = 6.5 (7.25, 8)” – Mitts are designed be fitted.
Yarn: TFA Purple Label Cashmere Sock yarn, 1 skein of each of two contrasting colourways makes one cowl and one pair of mitts, either fingerless or complete. Cowl and Fingerless mitts pictured feature Atlantic (colour A) and Sand (colour B), full mitt pictured features Natural (A) and Poppy (B).
Needles: 3.25 mm 16” circular needles for cowl
2.75mm (3mm, 3.25mm) dpns for mitts
Additional Tools and Materiels: Stitch marker, waste yarn, tapestry needle
Gauge: 28 sts and 34 rows = 4” in charted pattern on 3.25 mm circular needles for cowl.
I always love a blind side on Survivor. From the coming attractions it looks like Ozzie is going to act like a baby next week because things aren't going his way.

Last night's Revenge did not rank as one of the better episodes but it did explain some things from Emily/Amanda's past.
I'm trying to get my work done so that I can sit and get some knitting accomplished tonight. If all goes will I will have an interesting cowl to show you tomorrow. If not then I will be starting something new tomorrow in the yarn that I brought home.
