Between watching sports and playing Party Poker I knit 2 scarves out of Trendsetter Sorbet. 2 balls of Sorbet, 10mm needles, 15 stitches and knit every row. It doesn't take long.
I also worked on my Tapestry shawl from Trendsetter. This is a new ribbon yarn. One edge is finished and the other isn't and there are long metallic threads hanging from the yarn. I was on my way to being finished when I ran out of one colour. I am in the process of ripping back the row and a half and leaving that colour out. I hate to rip so it has been set aside until later tonight. The shawl is knit on 12mm needles with 94 stitches using one ball each of five colours.

Here is another picture of my Pandora scarf which shows the changes in the yarn better.
Wow, the pandora scarf looks even better close up! :) It's gorgeous!! The other scarves are pretty too.
ReplyDeleteWho won the race? I forgot to watch Nascar on the weekend (it was a busy weekend, sue me! *lol*) ... My hubby's boss was at the race, so I hope Gordon didn't win (the boss' fave driver). He and I have a small battle of the drivers on ... He likes Gordon and I like Stewart and Dale Jr. Sorry to ramble on, but I have to stick with the things I'm good at. *lol*
Have a great one! :)
Thanks. It really shows off the yarn.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Gordon won. He isn't liked at my house either (I will tell you in person what we call him) -I have been a Rusty fan forever.
Boo!! Hiss!! Bad Gordon!! Thanks for the info Julie. :)
ReplyDeleteSundays are football days for dh.....he goes to get his pro line picks...this takes careful consideration.....if he wins I know I won't be cooking dinner LOL I sometimes, depending on what is needing done, sit and knit with him while he watches.....he tries to teach me a few things about the game as well.
ReplyDeleteI love the scarf!!!
