Saturday September 25th

We’re not ready but… It’s time to start booking appointments for in store shopping. We’ve had a few hiccups but if we don’t start it isn’t going to happen.

You can book here. Appointments start a week Saturday.

  • Masks are required.
  • Customers will be asked to use hand sanitizer and socially distance while inside the store
  • Appointments are for 45 minutes.
  • Your 45 minutes start at the top of the hour - not when you arrive.
  • If you know of products you need please order ahead of time for in store pick up. We will have these ready for you when you arrive. This will save time when checking out.
  • This appointment is for you. If you want to shop with friends please have them book their own appointment.
  • There is no public washroom.
  • Debit, M/C and Visa. No cash.
We have left ourselves 15 minutes between appointments to wipe down surfaces, tidy and to grab a tea.
I’ve been putting kits out this week. These are kits for Gamut and Stephen West’s MKAL. There will be more kits for the MKAL next week. We have a shipment coming from Sweetgeorgia with their new colours for fall.

It was hard taking pictures in the hallway. It isn’t wide enough to stand back and get a straight on shot.

Brian Smith has a new pattern that is knit in 4 colours of worsted weight wool. He used Cascade 220 Heathers for his sample but your options are limitless.

This slightly asymmetric triangle shawl mixes feather and fan pattern, with a 3x3 rib pattern. Worked sideways, with yarn over increases at one edge.

The family is home safely. They are all a bit grumpy. Life at the cottage was hard - wake up, breakfast, fish, lunch, fish, nap, dinner, cards, TV then bed. They all had a thumbs down to working today.

I just love the calm colors in the second image. I hope your need for appointments, distancing, and masks is over soon.
