Clouds

Ms. UPS brought a lot of boxes this morning. The Shibui Silk Cloud is amazing.

Two boxes came from Malabrigo including a few colours of Rasta. Lotus and Glazed Carrot. I check Malabrigo’s site every day to see if we can get more. They are having problems with production in South America. Covid has really slowed things down.
We also received a restock of Rios.

Joji used Rios for her Worsted Boxy (pattern purchased on Ravelry).

This is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Worked with a worsted weight yarn at a very loose gauge, it is very flattering, drapey and stylish! A little short row section in the shoulders adds an interesting texture to the sleeves.

Directions are given to make a seamless version (worked in the round) or a seamed version (worked back and forth) of the body. The sleeves and the neckband are worked seamlessly in the round in both versions.

Cheryl Faust designed this pretty shawl in Rios - you can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

Untucked is an asymmetrical triangle shawl, knit flat from the left tip to the right edge. This visually intricate piece with captivating textures is deceptively simple in construction.

Whether knitting at home or on-the-go, the rhythmic repetition of this knit with soothe your soul as it flies off your needles. The most challenging part will be choosing the color that makes your heart sing!

Pattern includes written and charted instructions. I would consider Untucked to be in the easy - medium range for difficulty.

We’re still waiting for boxes from Hedgehog and Madelinetosh. Maybe tomorrow. Shipping is really slow right now so I must practice patience.
