Great News

We woke up this morning to find out that we are allowed to continue selling online. Our physical store will be closed until we are allowed to open but we can ship yarn. Please visit our website to place your order. We will continue shipping every day.

If you need to speak to us, please send an email. There won’t be set hours to reach us by phone.

Thank you for your continued support.

I was asked about Curbside pickup. For now we are not offering this. However, if there is an emergency and you need yarn or needles, please send us an email. I will try to arrange a time for pick up.

Tara shared a picture today of a beautiful cardigan she knit with Arranmore Light. The pattern is called Mariechen and you can purchase it on Ravelry.
Love the feel of this yarn. It’s very soft, with no bristles or prickles for being 80% wool (+ 10% cashmere and 10% silk). It almost feels more like soft cotton with tweedy bits.
This is being knit for a sister that would prefer things to not be overly warm or heavy. This yarn should suit well. The airiness of this yarn makes it easy to hold the whole project (knit from the neck down usually means a lot of weight to hold on to) without straining the wrists.
The pattern is very straight forward so far (I’m past any tricky parts) and well explained.

Ms. Canada Post picked up a lot of boxes this afternoon. There are still more that I didn't get finished until after she was here. There are going to be a lot of happy knitters in the next few days.

I didn't even think to take any yarn pictures before leaving today. All I could think about was getting home and taking my shoes off. I walked 4km in the store today.

Here are some new colours of Harrisville Highland that arrived late yesterday afternoon.
Lilac
Mustard
Hemlock
Walnut

We're going to watch Spring Baking from last night and then it's bed time. And I'm going to sleep in tomorrow - maybe until 8am.
