Adventuresome

The Adventuresome Wrap was designed with a Yarn Advent Calendar in mind to make the most of daily mini-skein gifts that appear. There are so many possibilities. Add colours in randomly, arrange your minis in a gradient fade, or keep it simple and use a single main colour instead. This is also a perfect way to use up all those leftover yarns hiding in your stash. Frequent colour changes in the lace and slip stitch sections make this knit addictive and will keep you wanting to knit on.
The pattern includes both charted and written instructions for the lace sections.
Every year Ambah O'Brien designs a shawl for a Yarn Advent Calendar and she has a KAL. Check out the details of the KAL on Ravelry.

This shawl (the ADVENTuresome Wrap) has a main colour and you need 366m (400 yards). The stripes are 24 mini skeins that are 37m (40 yards) each. If you don't have a Yarn Advent Calendar don't fret. Mini skeins will work great for this pattern. Or go through your stash. I am fairly sure you have lots of fingering weight yarn that would work.

My shawl is growing. It is a lot brighter than the others I have knit in Noro Ito.
