Lots of Colour

Minikins and Minikin Palette Packs are now available on the website.

Fiber: Custom spun, single ply 100% US mulesing-free Merino
Care: Hand Wash
Ball Size: Nine x 25g/.88 oz - 98 meters/107 yards - 963 yards total
Gauge: 20-28 sts/28-36 rows over 4” on US3 (3.25mm) - US7 (4.5mm) needles

The Palette Pack is nine coordinating colors, enough yarn for a large shawl, baby blanket or multiple accessories! Use minikins for fairisle sweater yokes, fades and more!

You can also purchase the balls individually.
Pick two colours for the Harlow Hat. The hat was a hit at Knitting Camp.

There are two new colours of Yarn Bombs. These balls have a mile of yarn on them and one ball will easily make a shawl. We knit Espe (pattern purchased on Ravelry) with one ball and the shawl is huge. The pattern is easy to memorize and I would say that a novice or experienced lace knitter will enjoy making it. It's a pattern that you can easily make smaller as well.

Inspired by the spectacular colors of the Colorado aspen groves in autumn, this wrap uses lace leaf motifs that let the beautiful colors of the gradient yarn take center stage.
The shawl is worked in one piece, side-to-side, from a tiny six-stitch cast on, and it increases along one edge forming a practical, elongated triangle. A simple yarn over edging is worked along the two longer sides; this can be used for finishing since the blocking wires can be easily threaded through the yarn overs.

The leaves on the three tress in my garden are changing colours are at a very different rate. They are fading from one to the next.

The new Westknits Bestknits book will be in the store a week Friday (the 18th). It will be delivered to my dad in Myrtle Beach tomorrow and he will be driving home next Wednesday. Shipping of books is crazy expensive to Canada so I need to plan my orders around his trips.

It's time to divide for my sleeves. I'm going to try and get that row finished before Survivor starts - there is a lot of counting.

Did you use Crab Apple as the color way for the shawl? I love it! I want to make sure I get the right yarn bomb.
