New Patterns

There are so many exciting patterns being released on Ravelry.

Svetlana Gordon has a new hat and scarf set out (pattern purchased on Ravelry). She does amazing work. You can use any fingering weight yarn for the set.

Ambah's latest shawl is called Zippety (pattern purchased on Ravelry).
Zippety shawl will have you knitting speedily along as you’ll only have to zip through a few rows before you get to the next fun colour change. Work Zippety with strongly contrasting colours to make the most of the fun zig-zagging chevron patterning. Team this with a main colour and add a bright Pop contrast or work the four-colour version rhythmically. Alternately, dive into your stash, pull out all the minis, and make a Zippety like no other. Either way, Zippety is sure to put a smile on your face while you knit and on those around you when you wear this bold piece.
You need 4 colours of fingering weight yarn - Ambah used Hedgehog Skinny Singles.

Introductory BOGO Offer I’m celebrating being at VKL NYC and the release of my 2 new shawl designs today with a special 2 for 1 offer. Simply add both the Boogaloo Shawl and the Zippety Shawl to your Ravelry cart to see the discount. Offer valid through midnight February 2, 2019.
Boogaloo - Ambah has been busy. Two new shawl patterns today.
This shawl knows how to have a good time! Bring together a trio of gorgeous colours and groove while knitting Boogaloo. Choreographed to keep you jiving along with the play of colours, striking slip stitch sections and a beautiful lace flourish. Be as flamboyant as you dare or keep your colours more subdued if that suits your tastes. The end result, a casual, comfortable, asymmetrical triangle that’ll have you feeling funky when you wear it.
For this shawl Ambah used 3 colours of Adelaide from Primrose.

I'm half way through my cast off. I hadn't read the pattern - it's an I-Cord bind off. It looks good but takes a long time.

We just talked to dad. He is doing well. They are enjoying the village that they are working in. It's a new village for them. It was 85-90 today. Wow. That would be hard to take😉
