Woolstok and Dream State

Sarah finished her newest sweater this week and is ready for the Woodstock Fleece Festival. The sweater fits her perfectly!

Pattern: Tensho (purchased on Ravelry)
Yarn: Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok for the background and Spincycle Dream State for the yoke
Thank you John for taking the amazing pictures.
This pullover is named for Tenshō Shūbun, a Sumi Ink artist dating from the 14th century.
The sweater is knit from the bottom up in the round, and the body and sleeves joined at the underarm. A few raglan-style decreases are made before beginning the circular yoke color work, which incorporates more decreases. Short rows are worked just before the colorwork for a better fit around the neckline. The sleeves can be knitted using the magic loop method, or using dpn. If desired, you can work the ribbing on a smaller needle size. Some knitters might choose to work the ribbing on a size smaller needle, which can give a tighter rib.
Sarah decided to leave the pattern off the bottom of the sweater and sleeves. I like her version as well as our store version which has the pattern across the bottom.

Beth finished her latest hat last night. It is also knit in Woolstok and Dream State.
Pattern: Basic Norwegian Star Hat (free on Ravelry)
Yarn: 1 skein each of Dream State and Woolstok

Dad, Beth and I made Technicolor Cowl kits this afternoon. We have many awesome colour combinations for the Fleece Festival. Now it's time to do a bit of knitting. I'm hoping to finish my Inspira Cowl in time for the show.
