Artisan Yarn Company

We have new colours of Tough Love Sock from SweetGeorgia. This is a phenomenal fingering weight yarn that we have used for socks and shawls.
80% superwash merino wool, 20% nylon 425 yards / 388 m per 4 oz / 115g skein
A perfect blend of warmth and strength to make a hardwearing sock yarn that can stand up to your affection and abuse. Tough Love Sock is our best-selling yarn and knits up beautifully into fine-gauge sweaters, small shawls, as well as socks! Spun from 80% superwash and super soft merino and 20% nylon, this 3-ply yarn is so versatile — knit it firmly for hard wearing socks, knit it loosely for drapey shawls, or knit it doubled for a great worsted weight substitute. Suggested gauge for sock knitting: US 0-1 (2-2.25mm) | 8 sts/1"

We've been watching CNN. A lot of CNN. The good thing about watching is that I finished my 12 rows and am now onto the border chart. It's going to be close on yarn.
These pictures are from October 2015 when Myrtle Beach was hit with 20" of rain over a few days. The water almost made it up to our house. I can't make the picture any bigger but there is someone sitting on our front porch and the water is almost touching their feet. There is a good chance that it could reach the front door over the next few days. Thankfully we don't have a basement.
I'm not sure why the driver thought they could get through - they didn't.

It's going to be scary. We have been sending texts to our neighbours to wish them well. Hopefully the flooding isn't as bad as they say.

Now back to CNN and a few more rows before bed.
