Building Blocks

It's almost time for the next Stephen West Mystery KAL. I believe it is being announced on Friday. Here is the link to the Ravelry group...

I've participated in four Mystery KALs. I finished three and the fourth is in a box. It wasn't the pattern - it was my yarn choice.
The first Mystery KAL was for Earth and Sky.
Exploration Station
The Doodler

Lorraine knit this shawl for me. Color Craving. I didn't think I had time to keep up so I passed on this one. Then I saw the amazing finished shawls so I needed it.

Joining a Mystery KAL is a leap of faith. You don't have any clue what the shawl will look like. You aren't sure which colours to choose or what order to knit them in. But the fun factor is very high. You can't wait until Friday morning when the next clue comes out. It seems like a lot of knitting but you will be shocked at how easy it is to keep up. Stephen writes a very good pattern and he has videos for techniques that might be new to you.

If you just can't do it, watch along in Stephen's Ravelry group to see pictures of the progress. Maybe you'll join a bit late or when the shawl is finished.
