Kidsilk Haze Stripe meets Kim Hargreaves

For quite some time (since I knit my first Color Play Mohair Wrap) I have been asking/begging/nicely demanding that Rowan bring out more colours of Kidsilk Haze Stripe. I have talked with anyone and everyone in the company. Others have joined into my plea and there is good news. In October there will be 6 new colours chosen by Kim Hargreaves.

Maybe you've already made one of the following colourways. Or two or three?

And the new colours will be..
There are many combinations swimming in my head. I'm hoping that Rowan will take pity on me and send me a few balls before October. I don't think that I can wait that long. :)

My parents made it safely to Seattle and had a great dinner at Ruth's Chris. My dad was up early this morning so he walked to the market. He had a great time seeing flowers and vegetables. Then he got mom and they had breakfast at Ruth's Chris. Who knew that they served breakfast?? Did I mention that they are like 2 kids at Christmas? Beth told them that they are not allowed to call from the ship (it costs a fortune when you call from the ship phone - they've done it before) but have to wait until they reach port and then the cell phone will work. We'll see how many days it is before they call from the cabin.

I've been knitting like a fiend since I got home from work. The fourth eyelet pattern is finished. Now I need to decide if I'm going to start the lace pattern or add another eyelet section.
While writing I came to my decision. A fifth eyelet repeat. Who am I kidding? I like my shawls big. Mrs. Crosby Hat Box is a dream to knit with. So much so that I'm going to sign off and get back to it.

The new yarns are wonderful! And, your shawl looks perfect for Fall. I love shawls. I keep one just about everywhere where they can be reached easily - it's like the old phone commercials for extension phones: reach, don't run.
