Happy Canada Day

I hope all our Canadian friends are having a great day with family and/or friends. My day - heading to the golf course again. Two days in a row. No rain yesterday but I'm not optimistic about today.

Thank you to everyone who knit Auburn Wave as part of the KAL. This was the first time that we tried something like this and I'm pleasantly surprised with how many of you participated. I had no idea how many to expect.
Nicole sent a picture of her Auburn Wave.

Thanks for running this KAL.  I would never have normally chosen this shawl/wrap but I am so glad I did this knit along because I love the finished product.
Used 2.5 skeins of Whiskers Tosh Sock.  Did 5 repeats.  Tons of fun.
Christine (and a little cutie) showing off her shawl.
Here is my finished shawl. I am sure you have heard this many times but what a great pattern. I was able to put this project down many times and not get confused at where I had left off. Madelinetosh wilted rose was the yarn.
My son wanted to be in the picture to and as you can see he is good at posing for cameras.
And Shelley's Auburn Wave. Finished just in time at the cottage.

I just made a list of all the finished shawls that I have pictures for and those who posted on Ravelry. 19 names will be entered into the draw. I will do that tomorrow in the store with Kim. She will draw the names out of a bowl - she doesn't know most customers by name so she can't be accused of picking someone she knows :)

We're home from golf. I was so excited about golfing again today that I totally forgot to hit 'Publish' before we left. The day was great. Not nearly as hot as yesterday. No rain. Perfect!
