Free Patterns

I'm at work very early today - we open at noon on Friday but I've been here since 9:30. My dad doesn't need his truck for the next few days so I went over early this morning to 'borrow' it. I might keep it until April. That way my car can stay nice and warm in the garage. I don't think I want to drive the car tomorrow if we get the snow that they are calling for. My posts the last few days have been done late at night. Today it is going to be very early.

Rowan has added some free patterns to their website.
A collection of 8 Christmas Knits for Men and Women, designed to keep you wrapped up warm this Winter.  We've selected 6 favourite designs from the Rowan archive, and featuring two NEW exclusive designs from Martin Storey.

Knit this easy to wear mens winter sweater with ribbed pattern details and turtle neck finish. Designed by Erika Knight, it was originally featured in Magazine 42.
The sweater is knit in Cocoon. In my world I think I would leave the pockets off but that's just my opinion. Other than that I love the sweater.

Rambler - also knit in Cocoon.
Knit this easy to wear loose fit ladies sweater, with cable patterning and crew neck. Ideal for winter outerwear. Designed by Marie Wallin, it was originally featured in Magazine 48.

The boxes of madelinetosh are slowly trickling in. There are 7 boxes in all and we are getting one a day. Unfortunately the boxes with ASAP haven't arrived yet. There is a new pattern on Ravelry that I want to knit.

Kim is making up kits right now and I'm hoping she won't notice if I sit and knit for a while. :)
