Mystery

The trees around the store are beautiful right now. I love it when the leaves change. Something about it reminds me of Kaffe Fassett.

The first mystery project is done and this is the second one blocking. I'm working like crazy on the third one right now. I like how they are turning out so I need them done for Woodstock next weekend.
I bought the pattern for Stephen West's Mystery KAL but didn't start it. I saw pictures of the shawl after the first clue and didn't like what I was seeing. I should have faith. Now that all the clues are out, knitters are posting pictures of their finished shawls on Ravelry. Stunning!

Take a look...

I'm going to start playing with colour combinations once Woodstock is finished. If I start today I'm going to wind yarn tonight and the mystery project for the show won't get finished. I'm tempted though :)

I know what you mean about the SW MKAL. I have been monitoring the adventure through one of my friends. I didn't like what I was seeing until Clue 3 was finished. However, I absolutely love the finished design. I should visit your store and maybe get some yarn for the shawl.

Cheryl - your shawl looks awesome! Was it fun to knit?

The first clue had a turn every row that was tricky and quickly had to move to 2 circular needles. After that a fun knit. Love it when you don't know what is coming next. I want to do another one with some black, grey and a colour in tosh.... Have to make a visit.
