Yesterday morning I was up early and decided it was time to clean out my closet. I did a bit before work and then after dinner last night I got back to it. There was a bit of a pile of summer clothes that needed to be washed and put away. When summer ended I didn't need them so there was no need to be neat with them. Anyways, last night I got them all organized, laundry started and some folding. I didn't get any knitting done and didn't have anything to write about.

Church this morning and then I came home to nap. All the cleaning tired me out. :) Beth is getting ready to go to my parents with some groceries for them. They are on their way home from Myrtle Beach. YARN BOWLS!!! I can't wait to see them.

Beth and I are flying to Myrtle Beach on Friday morning. We are having some work done on our sun room so we need to pick fabrics for pillows and tile for the floor.

I don't have any knitting pictures so I'm going to show you what our plans are.

This was our sun room when we bought the house. Every time it rained the water poured in through the screens.
This is the sun room now (thank goodness it has glass windows now because it is going to rain all weekend-no golf for us) but it needs some furniture. Everything I picked out was either uncomfortable or really, really expensive. I found some pictures online that I liked.
Benches with pillows. Perfect. You can sit and knit or read and enjoy the sun. Kurt (who closed in the room for us) will be starting on the benches next week.
Here is another inspirational picture. I really like the wood floor but with the humidity in Myrtle Beach that isn't an option. We decided on tile-right now it is just a concrete floor.
Fabric swatches (15 in total) were shipped to mom and dad by the company who is going to make the bench cushions.
Now the fight is going to start-which way to go with the colours??
I'm holding off hitting publish in case Beth brings the yarn bowls home and I can get a few pictures.
The yarn bowls are in the back of my car. She picked the top three out of one box and brought the in the house.
 The sheep are really cute!!!
Now it's time for The Amazing Race and some knitting. It's the Linen Stitch Scarf tonight. Way too late to bring out the white cotton sweater and follow a chart.

I just LOVE your sun room. We have a patio that needs something so that we can use it for more than a place to go out and grill before we bring the food inside to eat it. We are getting ready to leave for ten weeks soon so are planning a back yard overhaul when we return to Ohio in June.

I really like the yarn bowls, too!

Love your sun room ideas. I wanted to tell you that there are porcelain tiles that look just like wood boards. Check at a tile store. I can't remember who makes them, but they come in a variety of colors. I put them in our finished porch room, with radiant heat pads under, as we live in Chicago - easier to clean up puppy accidents then wood floors too.
