Where is my head??

This morning I posted the picture of my Mystery Shawl to the Westknits Group on Ravelry. There is a new feature where you can download photos directly from your computer to forum posts. I am very happy. It is going to cost $5 a year (a cup of Starbucks coffee) and it is so much easier than going through flickr or another photo sharing website.

Mr. Canada Post just brought in a few boxes. The first was from Blue Sky Alpacas.
The box contained colours of Brushed Suri and Bulky along with new patterns.

Brushed Suri Wrap-3 skeins Brushed Suri
Trellis Scarf-4 hanks Bulky
The second box was from Prism
Again yarns that we were missing colours in.
Delecato-3 colours
Lace Wool-10 colours
Cool Stuff-3 colours
Wild Stuff-7 colours

I sat down with a needle and sewed all the ends in on Scalene this afternoon.
Pattern: Scalene (purchased on Ravelry)
Yarn: Classic Elite Liberty shade 7812
Needles: 4.5mm (I used Lantern Moon Ebony Circular 80cm long)

I'm going to share a story with you that will make you laugh. Jennifer called me to order yarn. I was just finishing with a customer and asked her if I could take her number and call her right back. Not a problem. 1-800-555-555 is what I wrote down. Then I go to call her back. I am missing a number. Seriously. Where is my head? I try 1-800-555-5551. Not a number in service. 1-800-555-5552. Not in service. 1-800-555-5553. Jennifer answered the phone. Thank goodness her number didn't end with 9.

Big Brother tonight. Are you ready for some fireworks?

Also a good thing that it was the last number missing!

ha ha! No worries - if you hadn't managed to figure it out, I would have called you back. I wanted that wool! :-D
