Short day on the course

Beth and I set out to the golf course yesterday morning and it started to pour. When we got to Dundas it slowed down so we started our round.  It would rain and stop continually through nine holes.  Just after we teed off on ten the siren went-there was lightening in the area.  We had to go into the clubhouse (luckily it wasn't far) and then after thirty minutes they said we could go out again.  We got a few more holes in and then it started to pour again so we decided to end our day.  The trees looked amazing!!

I was chilled to the bone from being wet and went to bed when I got home. After a small nap we had Swiss Chalet-very close to a turkey dinner. Unfortunately I didn't get any knitting done because I was wrapped up in blankets.

The pretty views certainly made the bad day for golf seem better. :) Nice images.
